Media Hacks Call Cheney A 'Hero,' Say They Love Him For Not Caring What Americans Think
Dick Cheney does not care what you or anyone else thinks about the war in Iraq or any other subject for that matter, and because of this he is a "hero".

That was the sentiment expressed by both Joe Scarborough and Tucker Carlson yesterday after The Vice President made it clear during an interview that he is not bothered in the slightest what the American people think.

In the interview with ABC News, reporter Martha Raddatz questioned Cheney's statement that "there's a general consensus that we've made major progress" in Iraq:

"Two-third of Americans say it's not worth fighting," Raddatz said.

"So?" replied Cheney.

"You don't care what the American people think?" Raddatz asked.

"No," Cheney replied.

You stopped at a key point in that quote... the man can dig his own holes without being taken out of context.

At least he's honest.

That is what every government functionary thinks of us and our opinions.

"We rule you, We are the authorities, We have control, SHUT UP!!"

He wasnt fired. He was demoted to just appearing on the MSNBC shows. I've seen him on Abrams and Hardball this week.

You know, it's interesting. More often than not, Vice Presidents often campaign once their President's terms are up. If the Bush administration was truly successful and genuine, one would expect Dick Cheney to run for President being so self assured that neoconservatism has helped America.

However he's nowhere to be found. I suppose he's eager to get out of the spotlight before armed citizens start coming for his head.

Nah more likely if he was involved in an active campaign in a competition with others, they wouldn't hesitate to bring up his CRIMINAL past and thus the media would see him to prison. He knows if he ran for President it would land him in the slammer.

Therefore, let's draft Cheney for President! :D
