What are the major political parties outside of the Dems and Reps?

And how many members do they have approximately?

This says LP, CP, and Greens are the largest of the third parties.

Of these, the LP has state affiliates in every state, only two of which are reportedly currently not (very) active.

The CP has several states without state affiliates, and several states with affiliates that aren't named the Constitution Party, and several states where the affiliate chose to disaffiliate from the national party in the past year or two.

No idea about the Greenies.

The Libertarian Party is the largest third party, The Greens are in second, and the Constitution Party is in third. Just imagine what would happen if they all agreed on a candidate one year. I can dream, can't I?

I can see LP and CP getting along if the CP can calm down about the flaming Christianity thing and some of my LP brethren can calm down with the flaming atheism thing, but aren't the Greens generally flaming socialists?

Go, go, prohobition party!

If I was a million-or-billionaire I'd start my own party and run. Otherwise it is useless.

The Greens (and other third parties) have all met in Dr. Paul's office to work on ballot access, etc. issues. Dr. Paul has worked with the Nadarits on the Green Scissors campaign, anti-corporate welfare campaign and many other individual issues.

Well, sure - I'm sure Dr. Paul believes that if people choose to elect flaming socialists, they should have the right to do so. I do too - but I won't be personally voting for them. ;)

Same way as I'd fight for the KKK's right to free speech even though I probably won't agree with a word they use it to say.
