Any link on a forum that you are not sure of, open it in a separate browser.

If it is a Rick Roll, just click through and don't get desperate and close your browser.

If it is last measure (a nasty troll link from GNAA) .....that would deserve a ban. I got ip-banned from Huck's Army for that one. However, opening links from domains you don't recognize from a forum in a separate browser program will nip that in the bud. All you will have to do is force quit the program.

If you are using Windows, a decent anti-virus program would have blocked it.

Better yet: USE FIREFOX.

Most importantly: The link that Landon Cook pasted wasn't malicious. All you would have had to do is click OK 30 some odd times.

It was not funny.
I do have my browser set to open in a new window.
Having to click 30 times to make that garbage stop IS MALICIOUS.
Browser HighJack , is a Browser Highjack.
I am not amused.
