It was very fire and brimstonesque only minus the fire and brimstone and multiply it by Dr. Paul's views.

If anyone had told me a year ago I would be clapping on a southern baptist preacher while he sings the praises of a Republican presidential candidate I'd have laughed in their face.

Hmm, I was there, and I don't remember him saying that. Maybe he was caught up in the moment and confused his words, or maybe they misquoted him. The speech should be on YouTube tomorrow, so we can verify.

I wouldn't have noticed it, I was into it, but my girlfriend has a knack for pointing out verbal screw-ups... and I remember her snorting and quoting it.

Or maybe he didn't screw up right there. All I remember is Erin quoting something he said.
