The SC congressional conventions are coming up and ive got a few questions about them
"The 1st Congressional District GOP Convention will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2008. The convention will be held at Hanahan High School located at 6015 Murray Drive in Hanahan. Registration for delegates and alternates will begin at 9:00 AM, and the convention will convene promptly at 10:00 AM. The regristration fee for delegates, alternates and guests will be $10.00 per person this year."

So its my understanding that all i have to do is show up give them 10 dollars and get voted in correct? Do i have to have previously gone to all of the monthy county meetings? I kind of wouldnt mind just showing up giving them 10 doing the little convention thing and leaveing, will i be expected to give a speech?
