Hello, I am new to this forum.

A few days ago I wrote to Dean Santorum's website email, but received no response.

I am located in the next district north.

Can someone give me a summary of the current situation regarding republican party nominees for the House in the southeast Florida region, including Palm Beach County?

Do the nominees have to go through a primary process? In what districts are there Ron Paul nominees? What kind of opposition are they facing from other republican nominees?

I wrote on Dean Santorum's web page that I am interested mainly in economic policy (also health freedom and home schooling, but economic policy a priority right now) and I could mostly help by writing letters to the editor.

Any input from members in the southeastern Florida area appreciated.

Thanks.

You can view a list of EVERYONE who has filed paperwork to run for office in the state of Florida at http://election.dos.state.fl.us/cand/canlist.asp.
You can use the drop-down list to choose just to view the people running for House. It doesn't provide detailed info, but it does give you a place to start looking.

Hope this helps!

Hey, I just noticed that there is only someone with "No Party Affiliation" running in District 3, I hope no one else files.

hmm.... Larry Will Penpek. He doesn't appear to have a website so I'm guessing there is no real funding going his way. If he's not a "Ron Paul Independent", someone down there should definitely consider running.

edit: there are two democrats running. probably haven't filed the necessary papers yet or something.

District 3:
Corrine Brown (D)* - (Campaign Site)
Bryan James (D)
LarryWill Penpek (Indepndent)

Oh, dang, I was hoping it was the weirdest occurrence ever that no one filed for the post but him. Maybe the other two will forget?
