As a practical matter, though, electing Paul delegates -- even at the state convention, planned for late May and early June -- won't change the presidential nomination picture. Missouri is a winner-take-all state for the GOP and delegates are bound to vote for John McCain on the first ballot. There won't be a second.

Wont change the picture eh, how do u know.

could saddle McCain with a platform he won't be happy with.

I guess McCain is not happy with being a republican.

Missouri caucus-goers for Ron Paul were unified in their approach at the caucuses in voting to change the state's rule to allow delegates to be unbound. This vote went in our favor in many counties, and we won the majority of delegates in many counties - possible in the state. We will find out soon if the move to unbind all the delegates has succeeded. If it has, there will be more delegates voting against McCain than for him from Missouri. Other states are following suit or already have.

So, "Give me liberty", put that in your hash pipe and smoke it.
