Read some of the comments to that WSJ article about the Bear Sterns collapse.

The attack on Capitalism will soon be here. We must educate people that the failings of our economy are not due to free-market capitalism, but in fact due to our Socialized banking system. When the government guarantees against losses, what is the natural response? No aversion to risk. That is NOT capitalism.

The same reason people will blame capitalism is the reason that people believe the US is a democracy.

Yep History is repeating itself, we will hit a new socialist era, if we do not act immediately.

Yep. What's that? 99.9% of the population? It's hopeless- they can't be educated. We need to descend on NH and take over our own state or a select few states. We can't fight the socialism if we are scattered all over the country. The infrastructure is set up in NH and the resources are there. Please guys, we need to stand together somewhere. :(

Lol, Kludge. I think most of us have a hard time really talking to people who just don't get it. I'm heading up to NH on the 28th for a visit and plan on moving within 3 months (by summer). It's nice knowing that I already have a lot of friends there waiting, people who won't make me twitch when I try to talk to them. :)
