The John Birch Society has been fighting this battle since the 1960s and they have a solid understanding of what the problems are in America and how to starting repairing them. They present rock solid information in a very professional manner to help educate the average American citizen about what their rights are and how the government to slowly destroying those rights.

I ask you to just attend at least one meeting of your local John Birch Society chapter to get a feel of what they can offer to you. This also can be a get networking tool and a great friendship builder. We can work together during these times of crisis.

Great educational organization.

Great organization with fantastic people. However, can you please provide 2-3 examples of positive change for which JBS has been responsible. By change, I mean stopping or reversing movement towards Totalitarianism.

If not, JBS members' time and resources would be better suited to assisting current successful efforts in retaking the Republican party and affecting CHANGE rather than having self affirming meetings with like minded individuals. For examples of meaningful GOP change (political change) by Ron Paul supporters just in the past few months , please see press releases in this forum from Texas, Missouri, Alaska , Washington State.....

I am a new member to the JBS so I wouldn't classify myself as an expert.

However, I do see a lot of positive changes taking place. Many of the JBS groups have been instrumental in getting legislation (in states) against NAFTA, NAU and I think, REAL ID.


It seems to be to be very specific and focused.

There is a great deal of focus on educating the state legislators about the NAU and NAFTA.

Are non-religious people welcomed into the JBS? I ask because I'm agnostic but very tolerant of other people's faiths. I do prefer a mostly secular environment when working to effect political/social change, though.

If I had more $$$, I'd purchase the 5-copy subscription to The New American (http://www.thenewamerican.com/), JBS's flagship publication. I would then leave one copy each month at the magazine exchange racks at my local libraries, and in student and faculty lounges at my local colleges.
