Remember that not long ago the pundits were saying that even a recession wasn't likely. Now a recession seems to be a given, and now talk of a full-blown depression is creeping into the lexicons of more people.

Well, if he is sounding like Ron Paul, he must be crazy too since Ron Paul is nuts and doesn't know what he is talking about. BTW, ignore everything you are seeing in the news and in your own life. It's not really that bad. Everything is fine, just keep telling your self that. And President Clinton/Obama/McCain will take care of everything.

Now, let me clean up all the sarcasm that has dripped on the floor here. ; )

I like to tell myself paper money is worth it's value because of the high-quality craftsmanship.

Right or wrong, this is hardly proof of anything.

And BFranklin...who is this "they"? A former labor secretary?

The proof is in the fundamentals of the economy...e.g. the data. I just found it interesting that some people from the establishment are starting to hint at the truth.

The former Labor Secretary is Robert Reich who served under Clinton.

I saw a woman on CNN telling people to REFINANCE if they have equity in their homes! What do you think these people are going to do with that refinance? Pay off their freaking credit cards... ahhhhhhhhhhhh

Not cheering at all. Just be sure to add comments to the digg submission to the effect that this outcome was common sense 8 years ago. I saw it coming before this campaign began.

Thanks for digging.
