Sorry, but this is just a silly complaint from someone who is ignorant of what a 24 hour channel requires. First of all, CNN freely admits that it is not a 24 hour serious news network. NO network is going to do that. Because it is unnecessary. And they need ratings, or else they can't pay for it. Because honestly...if you really think about nothing but serious political stuff 24/7, I am SOOOOOO glad I do not have your life. And to try to make yourself seem SUPERIROR to others that actually LIVe their lvies is ridiculous.

You look bad with this complaint. Anything to bitch about hte media, I guess, but you are not helping the cuase.

That actually isn't that bad of a news site, but the problem is that nothing negative is reported and negativity is part of the truth. LOL I just read about the cat that saved a family from carbon monoxide poisoning.

Antiwar.com is good place to get roundup of news. They even categorize it by region of the world. On the right hand side there is editorial content, but all the headlines and stuff in the middle is news reports from various sources.

I actually think that the CNN.com International Edition (http://edition.cnn.com/?iref=intlglobal) is pretty respectable. If you compare it to the CNN.com US Edition (http://us.cnn.com/), they seem to focus more attention on the real news, and I doubt you'll see anything about Paris Hilton or victimized puppies.

Anyways, my favorite news website online is Truthout.org (http://www.truthout.org/index.htm). Other sites I frequent daily are NewsNow.co.uk (http://www.newsnow.co.uk/) and BBC.co.uk (http://www.bbc.co.uk/).
