I am not an economist. Just want a book that can give me appreciation+insights of the philosophy of austrian economics.

human action by mises or man, economy, and state by rothbard (think the second title is that...if not something similar to that)

Another good one IMHO that is pretty thorough and full of current analogies (like the show "Survivor" for example) is Economics for Real People, An Introduction to the Austrian School.

I'm by no means an expert on the content of the book based on more in depth study, but it is recommended by the Mises Institute in their Austrian study guide.

Also, I highly recommend The Rise and Fall of Society by Chodorov (sp?). This book REALLY turned on a light for me as well as The Law by Bastiat.

Hazlitt is a very good one to look for, I just recently started reading Thinking as a Science and am getting some really good insight from that.

Chodorov has become one of my favorites as well.

I'm planning on tackling Human Action next. ;)
