The Ludwig von Mises Institute, the economics think tank that champions the Free Market and Sound Money, is broadcasting their Austrian Scholars Conference LIVE, in real-time, in half an hour (1:30 Central).

Join us to watch Bradley in DC (from this forum) try to defend fractional-reserve banking only to have his presentation torn apart by a panel of seasoned experts. It will be brutal and very entertaining to watch.

Why would Bradley in DC try to defend fractional-reserve banking?

Does he not study history?

No, from what he told me this morning, he will not only be defending it, but he will call for it as well as part of his presentation.

I have not seen what he's going to present yet, so this should be very interesting.

Probably something along the lines that it is better for fast economic expansion... aggressive.

Sound money allows for stable economic expansion as it is much more conservative.

Both have positives and negatives but, I believe, the former is more dangerous for long-term economic health.

Sounds like Ron Paul in reverse...

Explaining logic to the illogical.

Explaining illogic to the logical.
