Assuming Dr. Paul does not get the nomination.

Idiotic question.

I think it's more than established that the majority of us will be writing in RP's name.

Idiotic question.

You know that, I know that - one of our local organizers wanted a poll and keeps talking about switching horses and backing a viable candidate - want's to know who people would support...

not all states allow write in votes. in fact I think very few do.

hmmm. so...is it better to just stay home then? I can't bring myself to vote for anyone else. I refuse to.

I was pretty sure all did - now how many actually COUNT write in ballots is a different matter...

As to the LP backers, I think they are on the ballot in 23 states, so over half would be write ins anyway. I believe the CP is in worse shape.

On write ins - I think a lot of states only count them if it would make a difference in the outcome.

at this point, Hitlary appears to be the least evil.

I couldn't even bring myself to vote in this poll, much less vote for anyone other than Ron. I doubt write-ins will count, I could be wrong, but I don't know.

I'm trying to think of an up-side to hitlary, and all I can come up with is that she is probably the least likely of the 3 to start WWIII... (as in nukes - she'd probably invade countries without batting a wink...)

The only difference is, Hitlery is the devil we know...

Check out this article about Obomba. Webster Tarpley, who despises the Clintons, is begging people to support Hitlery over him.

It's posted on Rense, but the author, Tarpley, is well respected.

If McCain is the nominee after the convention I'll be looking into other party's nominees.

I understand the concept of making a statement, but I want my vote to go to someone who's in the race.

I normally don't do write ins, but this one is worth it.

Assuming Dr. Paul does not get the nomination.
I am not making that assumption.
That said, I will Write In Ron Paul.

I wouldn't be able to vote for anybody but the good Dr in this election. He captured my heart from the start, and to throw that away, I would feel guilty forever.

I will write in RP, no matter what.

Ron Paul all the way!

I will vote for LP if I can't write in RP. If RP endorses a candidate I'll vote for him, though.

Writing in Ron is a given, except I'm in one of the states that has banned 'write-ins'. The option isn't even available here.

I've said it so many times that I could never take it back. I'm writing him in if it has to be in magic marker on a touch screen.

I see no reason not to vote for the LP candidate. Those guys have done alot of good over the years, and throwing a vote thier way will be more effective then just doing a write-in that doesnt even get counted.

In 2004, the LP was on the ballot in 48 states + DC. They're expected to get that again this year. So no, they're not in worse shape then the CP. I'm voting LP!

If the telescreen doesn't allow me to write-in Ron Paul, my sharpie marker will.

Who are you people?

I'd rather have my vote count for something than count for nothing!

Not voting is a vote for nothing!

Make a statement -I plan on Dr. Paul. What's wrong with you?

Make your vote have an impact at least. Anything other than the status quo - Repulbicrats!
