apparently it's 845 Billion dollars, that we will be paying on top of the 300 Billion we currently spend on foreign aid if Obama's bill passes today.

Can you say tax increase?

Your math is off. That sounds like 7% of annual GDP, not 0.7% (GDP is approximately $12 trillion I guess). Maybe if we spent that much over ten years we could say it was 0.7% of GDP.

OK, if my math is correct and so is yours:

(100 / (07 Fed Budget) 2,680 Billion) * 84.5 Billion = 3.18% of the federal budget that Obama wants to give away.

Now where is that money going to come from?
