Fallon told Petraeus that he considered him to be "an ass-kissing little chickenshit" and added, "I hate people like that", the sources say. That remark reportedly came after Petraeus began the meeting by making remarks that Fallon interpreted as trying to ingratiate himself with a superior.

Losing Fallon is a terrible thing.

But Fallon and the people who know him all agree he never says the word "chickenshit". They think the quote is wrong or made up.

But at the bottom of that article it is stating that this is one of the biggest disagreements top military leaders have had in some time.
