Yes.

if al-Qaida can declare victory why can't we.
Just say "we Win" and leave.
Bring all our troops home and say the War is over, we won.
That way everybody can dance in the streets.

Gosh...if this an argument for McCain over a Democrat...then he only has it half right.
If a Democrat is elected there will be celebrations by Al Qaeda that it was some sort of victory. It was like that in 04' with the Democrats winning the majority in congress....and look what we got.
If th mid east actually believes a main stream Democrat of Obama or Hillary's ilk will be more conducive to non intervention... then they are delusional.

Yes, definitely. If they feel like dancing in the streets because we elected a non-imperialist non-interventionist, they won't feel like committing acts of terror. No recruiting means only the power-hungry leaders will be left in Al-Qaeda. I really don't think they'll come blow themselves up, but even if they do there just aren't that many of the leaders.

If my neighborhood was being occupied by a foreign military force, Id be dancing in the streets too when they LEAVE. I dont get how pro-war americans can't ever put themselves in anybody else's shoes.
