Opposing the North American Union Bill Update:


The Utah Senate passed by a vote of 25 to 0 a resolution "urging the consideration of the United States ending its participation in the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America." The text of this bill is available at

Update:

The South Dakota Senate passed an anti-NAU, anti-NAFTA Superhighway resolution (S.C.R. 13, text at http://legis.state.sd.us/sessions/2008/Bills/SCR13ENR.htm ) by a vote of 24 to 9 on February 22. It passed in the House by 56 to 13 on February 26. According to the resolution, "the Legislature opposes the construction of a NAFTA Superhighway System and opposes the entry of the United States into a North American Union with Mexico and Canada."

That is GOOD news....but I fear the wording of that bill is a waffle on its own. "Urging the CONSIDERATION..." I hope people go from urging consideration to DEMANDING that we keep our sovereignty.

If Utah passed that bill why was it so hard for the dumb voters to vote for Ron paul?

McCain is for the north american union.
