Real ID in PA [Action Required!]

The Real ID is becoming a reality in PA. They have already spent $20 million dollars on the program and have 11 of the 17 mandated criteria satisfied. They have also started to print temporary driver's licenses while conducting extensive background checks.



This Thursday, March 13th at 10:00 AM the state of Pennsylvania will be holding a press conference to discuss the progress of the state's implementation of the Real ID. This will take place at:
University of Pittsburgh- William Pitt Union Ballroom
3959 5th Avenue
Pittsburgh , PA 15213


Freedom loving Pennsylvanians need to contact their state representatives (http://www.legis.state.pa.us/) to co-sponsor two PA bills opposing compliance with the Real ID Act. There will also be an anti-Real ID rally being held to make it known that we will not comply with this abusive attack on our liberty.

I plead with you to help in the fight against the Real ID from becoming law in PA. Thank you for your time and consideration.

What are the two bills though? I do not want to be telling my representative about two bills I know nothing about. And I've found some that seem like the right ones, but can never be too sure.

i believe the senate bill is SB 1220
and house bill is uhhh i dont remember :mad:

1. Find your legislators (house and senate) by plugging in your zip code here: http://www.legis.state.pa.us/

2. Find out if he/she are sponsors of HB 1351 & SB 1220.

3. Call their DISTRICT office and setting up an appointment with them. Meet and request their co-sponsorship on the proper bill. Get another dozen people in your district to do the same.
