I thought that, too, but then I remembered the style of the columns he writes every week, and the extremely punchy language in A Foreign Policy of Freedom. His speech on neoconservatism in that book is every bit as edgy as what I just read on Amazon. So I'm going with he wrote it.

It also could have been both ghostwritten and personally written. He could have had someone develop the basic outline and then went in and expanded and edited it.

Either way, I hope he hits the TV circuit to promote it and the ideas in it.

Someone here spoke of handing out copies to the houses on his street. Maybe some kind of "adopt-a-street" program could get started via the Meetups? There are lots of possibilities here.

Image is everything when dealing in public matters.

Every top 25 city in the US should plan distribution events where there is a small "Q&A Team" that can engage interested parties in debate, sticking to RP ideals, then give the book if they are interested. Suits and ties, or at least Polo shirts and slacks for men. Look like a leader with an important message for the people of America, because you are one.

Agreed, for sure. My suggestion of "adopt-a-street" was based on the idea that you generally know and are friendly with your neighbors, and thus wouldn't be just handing out copies to strangers.

We don't need to give this book away. It makes us look fringe and weird, like the gys who hand out their free newspapers in New York that reveal the horrible government conspiracy to turn our teeth purple.

The best strategy for success is to buy several copies for yourself and as a gifts (I've pre-ordered 5; 1 book for each member of my family that label themselves "Survivalists"). This will jump the book onto the Best seller lists, and will subsequently get more people to purchase the book.

It is his words. Compare the writing style to his Congressional writings (www.ronpaullibrary.org). Ron can be very edgy when writing. Nothing strange there. He's just more reserved when speaking.
