Won't one of the other candidates come roaring back into the race?
The nomination won't automatically go to Ron, right??

Just curious....

Romney could hop back in, couldn't he? That'd be funny.

they'd probably try to nominate Romney or Huck, but that would really throw a huge wrench in the works.

high chance Huck will take it. Face it, the GOP will not give it to RP. NEVER in a million years.

We could hypothesize all day long - I wonder if there are rules about such a thing. Wouldn't it be fantastic if it went to the last person who was still running? Then it wouldn't matter what the media thought. Huckabee dropped out and who was still in? Ron Paul - all the way! ;)

I don't really understand...the GOP will always want to stay in the oval office, if Ron Paul's ideals are so great, and people will love it...why must they fight it? I'm sure if Ron Paul became President under the GOP, aren't the chances of another GOP candidate getting office great as well?

That would set Flip-Flop in concrete.

It would be a free-for-all. Romney would likely be the favorite, but the evangelicals don't trust him, because of his Mormonism, which they view as a cult. He has a lot of money to throw into the race, so that might be a factor to some of the party hacks. Maybe he could buy the nomination. Huckabee is attractive to some evangelicals, but most of the conservatives don't like him. o I doubt if either Romney or Huckabee could beat Clinton or Obama, because they're both pro-war, and that's not where the sentiments of the vast majority of Americans lie. Clinton and Obama are both pro-war, of course, but they're trying to position themselves as being more pro-peace than the Republicans. Neither of them can hold a candle to Ron Paul, though, when it comes to being pro-peace.

The goal of those in power is to stay in power, and with a libertarian-Republican in office for 4 years their power would be greatly threatened. It has nothing to do with (D) or (R) and in fact, Bush would probably rather Clinton to be his successor in order to more smoothly make his exit out the back door with his mistakes and secrets hidden by a friend of the family.

Start thinking about the two party system like 2 heads on the same monster. The same freedom consuming, capital consuming, resource consuming, big spending, price inflating, bix taxing, welfare loving, warfare loving, socialist monster.

Its from the Book of Revelation...

"And, that “it was and”, it was not to kill them, it was permitted that it makes them, the between torture of five months meet. The torture which is added to them, when the sled attacks the person, seemed like torture.
Revelations 9th chapter 5 paragraph of [yohane]"

Thats what I got off an internet translator... thought it was Korean... but figured out its Japanese.

Soon, WE will BE the GOP.

But it's not going to happen by itself. "Paulitions" have to actually get up from their computers and the Internet and go place their names on their local ballots as GOP precinct committee men and women...it's the only way to take over the party. Without this critical first step being taken, all the work you, Dr. Paul and his supporters have undertaken thus far will have been in vain. The R3volution cannot and will not continue unless an overwhelming number of "Paulites" act in this regard. It's just that simple.

Which Internet translator?

I put it through Google translator and got this:

"And the "INAGO" they do not kill them, the five months between逢わtorture can be allowed. They are in addition to the torture, scorpioid strike when people are like torture.
Revelation Chapter 9 clause 5"

which makes absolutely no sense...

Where to start to answer this without writing a book?

Here's the short version. The Republican party is no longer the Republican Party of old. Do you remember how they supported Joe Lieberman in CT instead of the Republican? There is no longer a distinction between the two parties. The only distinction is between the powers that be and us. Never the twain shall meet. Ron Paul is not one of TPTB, so he's not even a consideration for the party, not a consideration except how to get rid of him.

Here... (http://www.worldlingo.com/en/products_services/worldlingo_translator.html)

Here is the verse from the net, it seems to be what is quoted.

<< Revelation 9:5 >>

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
New American Standard Bible (©1995)
And they were not permitted to kill anyone, but to torment for five months; and their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it stings a man.

King James Bible
And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.
