ACTION ITEM: Ohio Anti-NAU Resolution

OHIO BECAME THE 20th STATE IN THE UNION TO INTRODUCE AN ANTI-NAU RESOLUTION

Thanks to the work of members and supporters of the John Birch Society, The Ohio House of Representatives introduced House Concurrent Resolution 31 (HCR 31 (http://www.legislature.state.oh.us/ResolutionText127/127_HCR_31_I_Y.html)):

"To urge the President and Congress of the United States to oppose any effort to implement a tri-national political, governmental entity among the Unites States, Canada, and Mexico, and to oppose the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America and initiatives pursued in conjunction with the Partnership that threaten the sovereignty of the United States."

PHASE I is complete. The resolution was introduced with 7 co-sponsors and has been assigned to the State Government and Elections Committee (http://www.house.state.oh.us/jsps/Committee.jsp?ID=24), comprised of 17 representatives.

PHASE II of this effort is to educate these committee members on the North American Union and encourage them to push the resolution to a vote.

All members of the committee received a letter from our chapter leader, and a copy of the New American Special Issue: Merger in the Making (http://www.thenewamerican.com/files/documents/MergerInTheMaking.pdf).

All members of the committee have also received an email from our assistant chapter leader containing the North American Union timeline (http://www.stopthenau.org/Downloads_Files/NAU_timeline_Rel2.pdf) which contains hyperlinks to source documents.

ACTION ITEM:
Now it is up to Birchers and supporters to contact the members of the state government and elections committee and encourage them to research the North American Union and push the resolution to a vote. Here is the contact info (http://files.meetup.com/684064/OhioNAUresolution2.doc) for each member of the committee.
