Its not that clear. He is hinting at a indie run. He did not answer "no" to the question when asked. This is bringing up a whole new set of questions.

Its called not showing your hand. He may actually endorse another good candidate and help that person get ballot access.

We don't know. What matters is that he is not going to back McCain, and he is going to continue to campaign. :)
