I found it from other research, found the data set interesting. I suppose a google search. Maybe someone with (lottsa) time could compile an updateable url list of polls that need help... (i'm just browsing as some glue dries and am not very web proficient to begin with)

Well...even if this is based on google searches...how do you get attached to a specific candidate that way? Someone?

Its widget based. People place a widget on their blog and you get to vote for your candidate on that blog. The whole network of widgets is aggregated into that page there. If you vote on a widget on one site you cannot vote on a widget on another site.

Upon further investigation, one can only vote once in the poll no matter which site you visit.

I found this out by clicking through to an active poll and had already voted in the Okies poll on another thread

Still an interesting dataset
