I took this a while back (there's a thread somewhere on this forum linking) and got I think Paul first and Gravel second, then a long line of variously horrible choices with (if I recall correctly) Romney being last.

We don't know that--he's against a Federal death penalty. I thought I heard him say he's fine with States having a death penalty.


2. RP is now against a fence

Yup, he's semi-for semi-against...but it mostly appears against.


3. RP does not oppose same-sex marriage

This is where it get tricky...he seems to support it at the Federal level...but at the State level he seems to oppose it--We the People Act, supporting Defense of Marriage Act, thinking the States banning gay marriage is fine--there's also his statements on "anyone should just look up the definition in the dictionary". Lastly, there was his statement, at the value voter's debate where he said that the State shouldn't even have power over marriage, and that "We should define it"...which has implications, considering the group he was speaking to.
