RP obviously didnt spend much of the 35 mil, what happens to the leftover cash? BTW thats 7 million more than what John McCain has raised so far, and look where he is now.

If there one thing we can learn from this campaign is you need to spend the money! RP did not spend the money. It really makes me angry. I feel a simple super bowl ad could've saved the campaign!

Take the time to read the FEC reports. It was spent.

There's 5-6 mil left over, and he hasn't dropped out yet.

He hasn't dropped out.....so I'm sure he'll need the cash in the future

I don't think people realize how LITTLE 35 million is.

The campaign has less than 2 mil left at this point.

And a successful money bomb at this point would be 500k

Heck Obama raised 55 million this month alone

McCain was the chosen one. He could have raised less funds and still ended up at the same spot.

These campaigns take months to wind down because the accounting has to be exact for the FEC.

35 million was a good haul. Many of the other candidates didn't have that much in the Republican primary.

Ron Paul was very unknown despite the spending.

Even if Ron Paul had raise twice to three times as much money, he would have had a difficult time because his opponents would have raised all sorts of issues and probably distort and misinterpret Ron Paul's positions.

McCain has run before and had a large network of previous supporters to fall back on win times were tough.

Here is a list from the FEC regarding the millions raised by the candidates.

Paul raised most of his money when he really needed at the height of the primary season. McCain raised most of his early, then went into a deficit.

Obama (D) 138.2
Clinton (D) 134.5
Romney (R) 105.1
Giuliani (R) 64.0
McCain (R) 53.7
Edwards (D) 47.8
Paul (R) 32.5
Richardson (D) 24.7
Thompson, F (R) 23.6
Dodd (D) 16.6
Huckabee (R) 13.0
Biden (D) 11.5
Tancredo (R) 6.2
Kucinich (D) 4.3
Brownback (R) 4.2
Hunter (R) 2.5
Thompson, T (R) 1.2
Cox (R) 1.1
Gilmore (R) 0.4
Gravel (D) 0.4

I don't think people realize how LITTLE 35 million is.

The campaign has less than 2 mil left at this point.

And Huckabee ran a national ad on less than a $4 million media budget...RP should be doing the same.

To answer your question he said he would invest the money back to the people and continue to fine ways toi voice the freedom message. In his latest video he talks about to new groups he supports I am sure he will do the right thing with the money just like he has done with his voting responsibilities.

Ron Paul is not out, he's not done yet, view the 7 min video for yourself instead of submitting to the MSM lies.

Money Raised and spent on ads < Constantly being talked about by every news network.

McCain was being boosted non-stop by the media... hence his poll resurgence right after Iowa, just like they wanted.

While searching the FEC website I did a search for my zip code and had a laugh. I found a guy who donated to Ron Paul and listed his employer as:

SELF EMPLOYED/CRAFTSMAN (IRS SLAVE)

as long as MSM keeps mentioning McCain, he doesn't need any money. as far as us, we need all the money we can get, we get no love from the MSM.
