The video of McCain getting testy at the reporter was a bit odd. According to a FOX news interview in July of 2008, McCain emphatically stated Kerry did NOT offer him the VP slot. I guess he only speaks the truth when it fits him.

When is America going to wake up? Between H & O and McCain it is going to be ugly beyond belief if any of the three get in as President.

The question is when did he speak to Kerry...if it was before the above listed link then he is lying ...if after he is not....anyone have Kerry's phone number???

It was in July. The entire Snow interview was about Kerry and Edwards. Edwards had already been chosen as the VP.

Brilliant...you are a genius...so that is why he was so mad! Thanks for the insight...maybe we could brew a new ant-mccain ad out of this one for the Vietnam Vets Against McCain....they loved the last two!:p

Bump for truth.

Why does CNN run a story related to this, but just mentions in passing that John McCain told the NYT in 2004 he wasn't asked to be VP by Kerry?

The fact is that McCain is a liar. Is it bad reporting to focus on the truth instead of mentioning it like it's all find and dandy that he lied?
