That's Meals Ready to Eat.

I ordered a case of 72 from www.saratogatradingcompany.com it cost me $180.

I just opened it and on the front of the MRE's it says, "One Meal, Ready-to-Eat (MRE) contains 1200 to 1300 calories."

However, on the other side of the box it says one serving is = to 190 calories!!! You think I shuold call and complain or get a refund? That's almost 6 MRE's short per unit!

Anyone else have a good company to go through for MRE's?

You only bought the entrees, you didn't buy full MREs.

Thanks '76. I just noticed the "entrees" on the end of the link.

Well, that sucks! I'm on the learning curve. Guess I'll have to compensate with the local abundant population of rabbit and squirrel or I can get some real MRE's if time is permitting.

Thanks again '76!

No prob.

You might want to check your local Army/Navy surplus stores for full MREs. Sometimes they can be had for a pretty good price without having to order them sight unseen.
