Alright, so it's gonna be on June 21st, 2008. Let's start making viral videos, huge diggs, and just spreading the word out altogether.

Please purchase Ron's new book: "The Revolution: A Manifesto" http://www.amazon.com/Revolution-Manifesto-Ron-Paul/dp/0446537519/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1204858821&sr=8-2

Please, please don't look violent, foolish, annoying, or disruptive.

We have a bad reputation for doing so. It's no secret, stop denying it. A lot of people say they're turned off from Paul because of us! Stupid, I know, but still.

This is our last stand. We must make a big impression upon the establishment. Maybe we could spread his new book around as well "The Revolution: A Manifesto."

From Ron Paul.
That date would be good for me, I might be able to make it.

In a video that was deleted (probably because ABC said the vid said he'd drop out, which isn't true), RP said the campaign can't plan the march, but June 21st sounds good. So basically grassroots will plan it

There was a video on the official site briefly where Ron mentioned it. It was pulled though, due to an ABC article trying to imply he was dropping out.

ANYWAYS!

As far as the march goes i say CONVOY. Some one had suggested in the official march sub-forum everyone flying or driving into a city outside D.C. and convoying in. I love this idea! Those of us who couldn't drive up there could meet people in this city, rent a car, or carpool in. This would be more impressive than scattered convoys from various cities and states as someone else suggested. We could create a traffic jam! With all the cars covered in Ron Paul gear. Ha!

What about the idea of planning this for the GOP National Convention instead?

We would get sooo much more media exposure.

Both are doable. Some cant make it to the dc, some cant make it to the gnc. do both. but I am doing what ron paul hinted at.. june 21st.

What about both? The first one could get people (and delegates) aware of how real all of us are. And then when we try to convince the delegates to not vote for McCain they might be more inclined to. We could get them feeling as passionate as we do and then remind them again at the convention.

I would travel to both - but I think if we want to really maximize the effect - it needs to be just one huge rally that everyone plans around.

because thousands of tasers were ordered for the convention.

Even better. Great YouTube Videos of 100,000 Patriotic Americans being tasered. :D

we need GREAT ads made for it, and with a nice site set up, we would all contribute to have it run nationally

I respectfully disagree. This is not our last stand. It is our FIRST stand. Perhaps even the one from which the LIBERTY MOVEMENT will be dated. (as distinguished from the Ron Paul Movement).

Both for sure. There about 2 months apart. It should be doable. But definitely stick to Washington on June 21st.

If it's June 21 for D.C., and Sept for RNC, that should be good. Three months separation, and two completely different parts of the country, means more people can go. And most people that could go to one probably couldn't go to the other anyway, so it's not really spreading ourselves thin. And if they could to either, they probably can pull off both with that much time in between.

It's wonderful that so many good ideas are being expressed in this thread, but we need to be careful in our planning of this march. Whatever is collectively organized at the grassroots level MUST have the implicit agreement ;) of R.P. - else he will NOT appear (watch the 3/6 video a few more times and read between the lines of his words if you disagree).

Now, there exists a person associated with the official campaign who is no Kerri Price (i.e., incompetent megalomaniac), but who (IMO) understands exactly where we are coming from here in cyberspace. Her name is JUSTINE LAM. If we make a concerted effort to communicate with her and establish our bona fides, then she could act as a "cutout" between us and R.P., so that we would have the input of someone who is VERY close to R.P. - someone who could give us feedback and direction.

Organizing multiple marches with multiple - competing - organizational structures is the way to dilute our efforts and minimize the potential impact our work will have on the larger body politic. With the right person coordinating our individual efforts (and here I am suggesting that we at least try working with Justine Lam) we will minimize the chances of our revolutionary movement splintering into fractious infighting with competing (ultimately incompatible) agendas. And nothing would please our adversaries more than that!

Agreed. And long-term infiltration of the like-minded will arise from this. Amen.
