I say we should make a subforum for delegate talks.

It would be stupid not to at this point. Delegates and things related to them are the only way Paul can win at this point. A subforum would help greatly. With great stickies that teach people about becoming a delegate, how delegates work, state conventions, changing your state's rules, national convention... It would all be very useful and handy information that would also give hope to those who have lost it on how we can steal the nomination for the sake of our nation.

I would also make it a hidden forum that you can only see once you have a certain amount of posts. Nothing too high at all, just so guests and recently registered people couldn't see our progress.

Also, someone who is very knowledgeable on delegates as a whole should moderate the forums and keep trolls out.

I am in agreement.

I second (or fourth) this idea!

I've also been wanting to ask the delegates:

1) Is this your first time ever being a delegate? What was your interest level in politics before this election season?

2) Now that your 'on the inside' in politics - do you plan on maybe a career in politics? Maybe running for an office some day?

Maybe this subforum would be a good place for me to do this! :D

I agree. I personal do not know any other delegate in my county.

A forum for delegates would be great.

Why not just use the National Convention subforum for national convention delegate discussion?

Please do. I expect to have my credentials after Saturday.

It would be troll infested...

Which is why I suggest someone who is very active here and knows a good bit about the delegate stuff to moderate the forums.

I don't see one. What "National Convention" subforum do you speak of?

Ditto. And the last place we want to deal w/trolls is in a forum where people talk freely about delegates, statuses, strategies, etc. Delegate info is the one thing, imo, that should be kept under wraps.

Make it by application only, and it must be much more support than merely enough to not get you banned, it needs to be exclusive.

We need to have a forum where only confirmed delegates can have access. No reason to have the enemy be able to come into those forums and read whats going on. :)

ITA Nate and Feelgood. This is the second "we need a delegate forum" thread today and I was pretty much ridiculed for suggesting we shouldn't have an open forum because of trolls in that thread. ;)

Me and my brother are going to be delegates for our district in NW Houston and I have absolutely no idea what I should be doing. AFAIK we are going to recieve a packet sometime soon and we need to attend the county convention on March 29, and the state convention is here in Houston so I could easily attend that is needed.

This is where Bryan is currently hiding it (if anyone finds it, he hides it somewhere else ;)):

I disagree.

I don't think ANY delegates should mention that they are delegates. Don't post about it, nothing, IP addresses can be easily located and narrowed down. Not only that, but no need in letting them know how badly they will be completely owned at the RNC.

Stay stealth until the RNC!
