Hey.. how bout that title for a post! Hey Ron, if you're reading this, don't take any offense, just have to post something here, haven't for a while, and... well... you aren't exactly here in my life and there's nothing you can do to fix the problems we have in this great state of Kansas. SO!... Where were we? I'm wondering where Ron Pauls bid for presidency is going to take those who have signed up for his msg of freedom? What about all the people who want him to be president? Are they still around? Or have they all shuffled off?

Well, since Ron Paul has a 97.5% chance of not being president due to the media, I wonder what can be done to keep the msg of Ron Paul going? Here in Wichita we have http://wichitaliberty.org/ which basically reports on improper use of taxes, etc etc. I'm wondering how many other people have similar sites in their cities? If it's one of a few, it should be a model of what can be done in other cities.

How about this? What if the cities got together and ratified state amendments to DENY help from the FED government in times of crisis? After Katrina, New Orleans just had a fit begging FEMA to come put clothes on their backs. However here in Kansas after a tornado wiped out Greensburg, the people of that town told FEMA they didn't want them there. They would take care of themselves. So, beings that's the case, is there some way a state could vote on opting out of federal funding for a vast amount of things they don't need or could do without? If the citizens of Kansas opted out of recieving federal aid from FEMA for a tornado, wouldn't that enable it's citizens a bit of control back in their own lives? Would that decrease taxes? or increase them statewide to cover programs the FED was giving?

Just a thought of what can be done beyond that of just being president, and the congressmen and senators. Thoughts???
