I don't see how. Yes, you can set your rankings, but until you click the "Post this Ballot" button at the bottom, it doesn't have any effect, and the ballot you linked to doesn't have the button. It just has a message that says, "Ballot posting and amendment is currently unavailable for this election."

It's been like that for at least two days.

The one I linked to has the "Post this Ballot" button, though.

The people that don't like him REALLY don't like him.

I see, I just assumed my vote took. You are correct.

Don't forget there are 2 different polls for declared and undeclared candidates.

Also an issues poll which is a bit more interesting than our one round blowout of the presidential ones.

I think I need to make clear why people are seeing the "Ballot posting unavailable" message.

There are a variety of polls at ChoiceRanker (http://www.choiceranker.com), including a new weekly poll called the Tuesday Tracker. Ballot posting for the one linked at the top of this thread closed as of Midnight Tuesday PST. The next one opens late Monday evening. No link is yet available.

Read more about it here (http://blog.indaba.org/2007/08/17/tuesday-tracker-i-results/).

The August poll remains open, which has been dominated by Paul supporters. I've already answered the request of a Paul supporter to add "Civil Liberties" as an option in the political priorities polls.

I welcome all voters. I recall when Ron Paul was dropped from the Pajamas Media poll. When I pointed out that my polls include all active candidates officially listed with the FEC, they banned me as a spammer.

What distinguishes ChoiceRanker (or makes it "strange") is that it is a ranked choice ballot, with an innovative display of results. One of things the format reveals is that close to half of Paul supporters offer no second choice in the Republican field. Those who do have tended to favor Huckabee and Tancredo.

Thanks for participating.
