Well one way you can look at it is that everyone except McCain dropped out before Paul and he was expected (supposedly) by people to be one of the firsts to drop out.

Now that McCain apparently has locked in the Republican nomination (barring assassination or some other unforseen event)

Now that Ron Paul has locked in the Republican nomination in his congressional district.

He is free to run 3rd Party.

Already, Eric Garris of antiwar.com is reporting a rumor on lewrockwell.com that Dr. Paul and Bob Barr are discussing a 3rd Party run -- and I would consider Eric to be an excellent source on this.

This could be the beginning of a new phase of the R3VOLution.

its about delegates delegates delegates.......if we get the majority of ron paul delegates to the national convention then we can all vote to all be unbined. if the majority agrees then we are free to vote for whoever we are. this is the strategy!
