Anyone else seen those fear mongering ads of "The House refuses to pass the surveillance bill that helps fight terrorists" and gives a phone number to call your rep.
It of course neglects to mention that FISA still exists, just the warrantless wiretaps and the retroactive protection of telco companies from persecution for breaking the law is what's at stake.
It's funded by Defense of Democracies according to the ad.

I've seen the ad on a local TV station (South Bend Indiana) and also on CNN. They must be blanketing this ad around.
