Interview in Killeen, TX with Denise Minix, Arlington, TX native and older sister of Spc. Richard Anthony Smith. Smith was a member of the 1st Cavalry and former soldier of the year at Ft. Hood. He was killed in action in Iraq on New Year's Eve, 2006, at 20 years old. He has a two-year old son, Richard Anthony "Echo" Smith the 2nd, who will never meet his father.

I do hope some people have been covering Arlington TX. Like Delta Drive where we use to live.

It use to be a bed room community, but I am not sure now, not having lived there or been back for so long. Our neighbor's still live there after all these years.

We did have some great times there as our children were growing up. Great for our kids then, who were into sports.

We could go to the Cowboy's game with a beer in hand. Not smart any more, but legal then.
