Hi yall,

I want a design.

On a serious note, (I am not kidding here)

Could someone render a design of a 'tin-foil hat'?

It needs to have a bit of 'cool' factor built in,
just enough metallica in it to be undoubtably
authentic fringe-wear,
but comfortable and, hopefully, somehow, a bit practical.

With adequate places for vote RP decals etc, of course.

Not one of those stupid aluminum foil toss-pots
you see on a Google search but rather something
with a bit more flair and polish.

I want to make up a few for myself and a few friends
(we are ancient libertarians - neighbours and colleagues
all regard us as hopelessly out of the box anyway...)

If someone could show me something that is
at least comfortable to wear I will make a few extras
and send them to you when they are ready.
(I have a seamstress in the family here,
and the raw materials won't cost much)
Of the 1.3 million google hits for tinfoil hat,
roughly 5% of them belong to Ron Paul. Go figure.

I don't want to be regarded as sane. - ]

I was thinking about this the other day. Turning the insult into a positive promotional thing. As we all know, the joke is that UFO nutjubs supposedly wear tinfoil hats to block alien transmissions into their brains.

So, possible slogans for the tinfoil hat:

"Blocks Tyrannical transmissions"
"Protects against brainwashing from the Bush Doctrine"

Or!!! What if it was made from a foil constitution with some clever slogan about protecting my freedom from abusive government.
"The Constitution: Blocking Tyrannical transmissions since 1787"

I can't really think of a good pithy slogan right now. I just woke up.

You are on the right track here. Like waving a flag at anti-war rally is a great idea, concerned patriots against the illegal war.

An interesting note about flag-burning during peace protests, was designed to polarize Americans during the Vietnam war--intentional disruptions to grassroots peace activism--a micro-perspective of TBTB well worn divide et imperium (divide and conquer) method.
