We most have a coalition and an understanding of other people. Those who we do not agree with we must work with them on issues we do agree with them. You knew she was a Democrat, she was Gore's adviser for his 2000 campaign for goodness sake. I still respect her for speaking out on issues, it got some democrats to understand the nature of what is going on.

I could care less that she's a "progressive", but her comments almost completely discredit her. Not only did Obama vote for the Patriot Act he referred to the Constitution as a "living document"! Once they understand that Wolf correctly identifies some problems... they understand that democrats aren't the answer to them. Democrats have heavily participated in our bringing about our current state of affairs, and it's easily pointed out.

Most older women have never given much thought to what Wolf talks about. They'd be unlikely to listen to me, but they'll listen to her. Support for democrats doesn't really follow once she's opened up someone's mind. So, I'd say she has her purpose. (and don't care if it's unintentional.)

This was the importance of Wolf's book and recent lectures, it woke up many progressives who would never give a minute of attention to Ron Paul, Alex Jones or other nonprogressives on the subject of the country's march to tyranny. Her faulty prescription for a solution is a secondary matter. It's sad that so many leftists' opposition to the war, Patriot Act et al is only "Bush deep"---as soon as he's out of there, they will come to terms with all of it once a Democrat is in the White House. But by at least partially waking the masses, at least the possibility exists for some of them to notice the puppet strings behind all the approved Dem/GOP players.
