We're working to get some of our own elected to House positions up in Augusta. We're holding a signature and MCE check drive this Saturday, so if anyone can make it (or if anyone who lives in District 117 or 118 wants to run) just get in contact with myself or sign up for the RSVP on the MaineHQ meetup. The details are below if anyone is interested. We're looking at holding another drive soon for candidates who don't live in Portland. Saturday's drive is being organized in part by both us and the Portland Republican Committee. The next drive would just be for our own running in other State Senate and House races, CD-1 and US Senate.

Announcing a new meeting for Ron Paul for President - MaineHQ!
What: Petition & MCE Check Drive
When: Saturday, March 1, 10:00 AM
Where: 11 Baxter Blvd Portland, Maine
Who should come: This is a petition drive to get Republican candidates on the ballot for House Districts in Portland. We have at least 3, as of right now, Liberty candidates running.
Why: We will be circulating their petitions in their home districts in Portland and collecting $5 Maine Clean Election checks from Registered Republicans in Portland. Help us continue the fight that Ron Paul started.
Meeting Description: We're trying to field at least three and possibly a 4th and 5th candidate for the upcoming State elections. The Portland Republican party is reaching out to us to help field candidates for Portland districts HD 114, 117 and 118 are still open as of right now
Help us continue the Revolution to the State House, This Saturday we will be circulating petitions to get candidates on the ballot in House and Senate races in Portland (Senate 8 & 9; House 113,114,115,116,117,118,119,120)
PRCC is asking for our help, and while we may not see eye to eye on a national level, we are all alot alike when it gets down to the State and Local level.
We will be meeting at Susan Collins' campaign office Conference room, which is at 11 Baxter Blvd (right by Hannafords and USM)
If you can't make it this Saturday, we will be holding another petition drive soon for other candidates not in Portland (Other senate & house districts, CD 1, US Senate, etc.) look for details soon.
