I looked for some info on Wikipedia, and it looks like this thing sailed through the House like a kite on an Appalachian breeze. After the initial uproar, I didn't hear a single thing about it. Please don't tell me this thing is law now!

Oh, and perhaps you have the number wrong? I don't recall any outrage over this bill. Maybe you mean 1955?

The House version is HR 1959. The Senate version is S 1955. The last I heard it was being called something else entirely now but I'm not sure what that is.
