I thoroughly enjoyed that.

For the most part.

Neil was insulting at the end though, with his lame-ass question.

Of course. Paul is exposing way too much information to the average Fox News viewer. Time to ask the oft repeated independent question to change the vibe. But as usual RP goes with the flow and gets his point across.

nice little exchange at the end there about whether Ron Paul will vote for McCain or Obama...

I did not like that exchange. Why in the WORLD did Ron not say he was going to vote for HIMSELF??? That drives me nuts.

It's interesting that Neil thought if RP didn't support McCain, Hillary, or Obama that he wasn't voting. If I recall correctly, there were about half a dozen people running for president in 2004. Plus, he asks RP if he is running as a third party candidate, and then acts like there are not third parties on the ballot for him to vote for.

Please wake me up, this nightmare just keeps getting stranger.

I get the feeling Neil really wants Ron to run Independent, so he can vote for him.:D

2 days ago NPR had Ralph Nader on. Talking about why he's running, to offer options, to push the issue of breaking the two party system. About uniform ballot-access rules for national positions, and ballot access rules in general, and about the horrible FEC finance regulations.

Yesterday they were back to saying "Of the 3 remaining Presidential options...", and pretending that there are no other options.

We need to scrap the whole election system. It's not free and fair. Its a propaganda contest. At least anything above the county/district level. And Nice Guys can't bring themselves to play those games.
