Why did the poster choose to associate Ron Paul with this?

We should BURY this, and digg one without that frame association.

Unbelievable. This is the way we portray ourselves to the world. How about portraying an image of PEACE.

I guess the neocons believe this is just an unfortunate consequence of an interventionist foreign policy. The policemen of the world.

OMG. I so didn't need to see that. :( Monsters. To think that is ok by any standard, I just don't understand.

Because of our Freedom. dontchaknow

Just a side note, I didn't think anyone actually believed that reasoning, I mean at all, because it was the most insanely moronic idea ever, that they hate us for our freedom and wealth..it was so far out of my mind that anyone could actually believe that..but Romney said it in his last speech (where he suspended his campaign)..I stopped listening to other candidates' speeches a long time ago but caught 5 minutes of Romney's, and it made me sad, that he actually said it, in a non-sarcastic way..there can't be many people left that are still under that dumb impression, surely..or so I hope. (I know you're using it sarcastically incase anyone reads this wrongly btw)

As for Abu Ghraib, despite the pictures and videos I still find it hard to imagine all the atrocities that occurr there, it's simply inhuman. Terrorist organisations will gain nothing but more support and more recruits as long as institutions like this are going on.

Sorry but yes, people STILL believe that. And if you tell them otherwise they hate you and you are no better than said terrorists. Go visit some non political forums and ask people why they hate us and be prepared to be blown away by American stupidity.

When the RP supporters get rounded up and put in detainment camps, will we all be naked together?

Other countries see America as the evil she has become. It is the Americans who still blindly call her blessed.

According to official numbers, there`re about 60 000 detainees in different concentration camps in Iraq atm. Hard to believe that they`re all terrorists.
There`re more vid. in google/youtube search. They´re so fiiled with unhuman brutality, that it`s hard to believe that this could be possible true.
..but we cann`t ignore eyewitness.

Who? The MiddleEastern people or the people commenting on that page about Ron Paul. Wow...

What is really scary is the fact that their fate could happen to any one of us compliments of the "Patriot Act".
If you study Hitler's rise in power, you will find that he,and his brownshirts, implemented similar legislation to keep control, and power.
Anyone, and i mean anyone can be classified as a terrorist, and be hauled away, never to be heard from,or seen ever again.
No,i am not comparing Bush to Hitler, but history always repeats itself.

Those photo's are an abomination, and i believe it reflects the attitude of our federal government towards human rights.
