:mad:Minnesota just had its largest tax hike in the States history, almost 7 billion dollars! This comes as we teeter on the brink of a recession. The socialist controlled legislature wants to raise even more taxes though this session, anywhere from another 1 billion to 6 billion!!! It’s being called a Tax-appaloosa here in Minnesota.
Spending has been going up double digits for years now. It almost seems like they want to destroy the State; they may have gone mad.
One of the local TV Station (a pro-socialist station) has posted a poll. They are fuming because they are losing the poll. Let’s saturate their website and really knock the numbers out of the block.

Monday the State Legislature voted to override Gov. Pawlenty's veto of a $6.6 billion bill, paving the way for higher gas taxes and other fees to bring in more money for roads, bridges and transit. What do you think?
I'm glad it was approved, we need roads fixed 5511 Votes

How about using some of the 35 billion a year budget to fix the roads!!! MN largest expenses are Welfare and Healthcare... They need to reallocate funds to core Constitutional Duties, not Football Stadiums, Convention Centers, Welfare, and the 1000x of other programs/departments Minnesota has. We were 6th in the Nation for States taxes, by the end of this session we may be #1
