I received email from Ron Paul and he shared his comments on young mother who asked for his autograph and that child would never see his dad. How heartwrenching...

I would like to ask if any one of you remember Pat Tillman in 2004 who left Pro Football contract and joined US army in Iraq war? It bothers me when people call him "Hero" but the fact is that he was murdered by friendly shots.

I found Pat Tillman tribute videos so you can get better understanding of this.

I feel so sorry for his mother, Mary. The media gave her all kinds of attention after he was shot, but they've totally ignored her since the whole friendly fire thing came out.

It was probably done to manufacture a hero and get more people supporting the war.

What strikes me as absurd is the efforts the establishment went through to lie him into the hero that he was without any lies.

My personal feeling is that he was likely fragged and that this was cooked up to emphasize the "worthiness of the sacrifice" or something like that.

sound like an execution to you? does to me.

Doesn't sound like the kind of thing that happens very easily by accident :(

Poor his mother, I wish she stands up and speaks to the public about how corporate media mistreated her!

I saw one movie part where they show how Pat died, I am trying to remember the name of movie, was that 9/11 Farheriet?

I can't believe they gave him the silver star, so many other soldiers are/were more worth rewarding.

I know a guy who's roomate was there when Tillman got shot. The Rangers (Tillmans group) fired on some Special Forces guys because they didn't know that they were in the area. Rounds were exchanged and Tillman died before they figured out they were on the same team. These were two elite groups, not some joe schmo Nat'l Guard units. If Tillmans head was the part sticking out, its entirely possible and probable that an SF guy could hit it 3 times. Thats what they train to do. When you assasinate someone, you just shoot them once.

This is just conspiracy BS.

The real story is that the Army tried to cover its own ass and lied to his family and the media.

Why would an assassin shoot someone just once? Is there some kind of honor code requiring them to give their victim a chance to survive?

Why wouldn't special forces be able to identify a friendly from less than 10 yards?
