Former Senator Tom Daschle today on the Sean Hannity Program, promoted his new book about Health Care which includes the idea that the Government needs to set up a so called "Federal Reserve for Health Care". What the HELL! This crap needs to be stopped NOW!:mad:

Does this mean we can print health insurance out of thin air?

I think we should extend this idea to a lot of industries in that case. I'd love to buy a car made with nothing of real value. Heck, maybe we can even start making things out of "Hope" and "Change."

Here's how it works: You go to your doctor and he charges for the visit. The receptionist logs the visit and the charges on her computer and sends it to the Universal Health Care Bureaucracy (UHCB). The UHBC transmits the visit data to the Federal Reserve, which enters in a deposit to the Doctor's business account.

Following that, who knows? Maybe taxes on junk food and sweets go up to pay the Fed.

I've always believed that Universal Health Care will do for Health Care what the Federal Reserve did for money.
