Okay… We know McCain cannot win the election. So why are we allowing the party elite to select such a failure of a candidate? However, his pro-war stance isn’t even the big end of this. The whole mess is coming to a head and it’ll be the end of the Republican party, and will hurt even true conservatives for years to come. Question: Wasn’t the lady involved in the recent McCain scandal a lobbist for a telecom? Now follow that up with today's press conference with Dana Perino. She admits the Bush administration is involved in a sort of “corporate fascism” on CSPAN-2.

Check it out: http://www.c-span.org/homepage.asp?Cat=Current_Event&Code=Bush_Admin&ShowVidNum=18&Rot_Cat_CD=BA&Rot_HT=&Rot_WD=&ShowVidDays=365&ShowVidDesc=&ArchiveDays=30

She’s flat out admitting the Bush administration will allow the Telecom Industry to circumvent the law in order to keep America secure. And the presumptive nominee now has a scandal in the NYT that links him to the lobby that wants to openly circumvent the law. Oh. Don't forget he just flopped on torture in an obvious attempt to appease this administration. There's more to this story, and these are connected. The question is how far the media is willing to dig.
