Dear Ron and Rand Paul,
Both of you are well aware that there is a confluence of events that will soon test the very survival of our great nation; the seemingly unstoppable economic might of communist China, the ruthless and oil-rich dictatorship reborn in Russia, the hopes of North Korea and Iran to become nuclear superpowers (as aided by Russia), the continuing devaluation of the US dollar, and the daily, incessant threats to our freedom at home.
Despite the ever-growing probability that Democrat Barack H. Obama will be the very first black President of these United States, Ralph Nader has again entered the race for the Presidency. Whatever Mr. Nader's reasons may be, his recent decision allows us to revisit and reconsider our efforts toward our own goals.
Dr. Paul, you can keep your promise to us, your loyal supporters by not running as a third party candidate. Instead, let Rand Paul run as a third party candidate for President, since the Republican Party is already dead-set on nominating McCain.
The Ron Paul Revolutionaries can trust Rand to continue the fight for you. Rand would be better suited to defeat Obama and he can do so, by refining our message to capture the imagination of the masses.
America is disenchanted and in despair. America needs to hear a message of hope, youth and understanding. America needs a benevolent and above all, truthful message - but not from a slick politician, but rather from an honest man.
We can overcome the mistakes of the past few months. Let us move ahead for the sake of freedom and the future of our children. We do not have much time.
