I took this to be a hit piece on Congressman Paul. It just seemed like the negativity was directed at Paul and the positivity was directed at Peden.

Lookie there, the author left his email address! Read it first though ;)

"Ron Paul is fairly ineffective ... The question is whether ineffective is good", said Jim Anderson, 65

They dared to call Ron Paul ineffective when he was ranked amongst the top 50 effective Congressmen, I hate idiots and liars.

"I have a very attractive wife not because I'm a very attractive guy. I wore her down," he said. - Chris Penden

I'm so tired of it. I'm sick of being polite to hacks like this. I really want to email him and just say "you're a dick."

But I won't.

I haven't seen any real numbers or polls but realistically how does Dr. Paul look in this Congressional Race? He has money now but I'm not sure what the status is in terms of where the majority of voters are leaning.

Does anyone have a pulse on this Congressional Campaign?

According to the Campaign Manager, Mark Elam, Paul is in the 60% range with Peden in the 20s.

LOL, Chris, welcome to the political battle of your life, against a candidate with world wide support analyzing your every word, facial expression, breath, sigh, blink, and fart.

Jim Anderson, 65, left the Tiki Island event unsure of his vote. He's disillusioned that the Republican Party has let the federal debt balloon to $9 trillion. There's no chance he'll vote for Dr. Paul for president, but for Congress?
some st00pid people are out there....

If Peden was half a man he do everything he could to help Ron Paul win the Presidency and then fill the local seat. It's that important to the country...but not to the "self proclaimed Christian Conservative" who only wants to push his personal agenda to be a politician.

he simply doesn't get it and could care less about the state of the country by attempting to railroad Dr. Paul. Perhaps he is part of the traitor camp.

Go Dr. Paul...can't wait until you get to PA.

The Dallas Morning News has been one of the worst papers in the country in their treatment of Ron Paul throughout the campaign. Another hit piece is not surprising in the least. The Star Telegram is a much better paper anyway, if you live in the DFW area.

In 2004, when Texas had only three presidential candidates on the ballot (Bush, Kerry, and Badnarik), and two of them were from Texas (Bush and Badnarik), the Morning News ran a two-page feature in the Sunday op-ed section before the election, one page on Bush and one on Kerry.
