thanking him for the attention he drew to public health but I felt it was the entire system that was broken and Ron is the only one willing to tackle the problem, I also asked for an endorsement. Tommy carries a big stick in Wisc and OK.

Doesn't look like there is a quote from Ed yet, but I'm not surprised he would endorse Paul. Obviously, he wanted to wait for Tommy's bid to end first. Ed ran for governor as a libertarian here in Wisconsin. He had a respectable showing. I wish he would have won. Don’t think we are going to get an endorsement from Tommy though.

pols will see this Paul opportunity as a chance to get energy for their own ambitions, obviously a Paul reverse endorsement will ring loud with the faithful. I expect alot of those guys to jump on board at the state and local level at least and run under a Ron Paul platform.

Which will be huge for the Freedom Movement.

I hope you're right. Can't wait to find out!

An Ed Thompson endorsement would be great. Not only would he grab that 11% of WI voters from the run for governor, he may bring over some Tommy supporters.

I hear he's the intelligent, relatively speaking, brother.

I met TT on a flight from Des Moines after the debate. We had a great conversation about this very thing.

I had heard rumors of his lack of intelligence, but did not find any evidence of that in our conversation. I enjoyed talking with him. He's a real gentleman, IMHO.

He asked me if I had heard of his brother. I had not. TT brought me up to speed. He saw my RP shirt and had nothing but good things to say about RP.

This is good news. Thanks for the heads up.

His name is Ed Thompson
He lives in Wisconsin
He's a big Libertarian there.
When he walks down the street
The people he meets
Always shout out his name and they say
His name is Ed Thompson
He lives in Wisconsin...

Darren, you're just on a roll today. Is this Monty Python as well? ;)

How about letting them share it. They're brothers they could figure it out.

thats the plan...I submited a story on digg that says: Thompson's brother endorses Ron Paul. That way people just glancing it over...will think that its Fred Thompson's brother

TT also stands for Tom Tancredo. I bet he'll endorse RP soon as well.

Ed is a 9/11 truther!

From what I have read, he is not a 9/11 truther.

I met Ed Thompson once, very nice guy and one hell of a public speaker.

He's a very down to earth kind of guy.

That's an easy 13% of the votes in that state just from that.

Ha, the article calls Ed the older brother, and then calls Tommy the older brother.
