He needs to give them a pocket Constitution and tell them to read it. And read their oath again. Then do what they're supposed to do. And then maybe, after a trial period, we'll consider supporting them.

Having intagraty and intelligence is helpful as well. You don't have to be running on Ron's platform but you do need to have a set of principals that you hold to.

If Ron Paul didn't walk the talk, if he wasn't able to articulate his positions, if he couldn't show how his beliefs give a complete worldview then he would not get this sort of support.

Ralph Nader seems to be another sort of person that has the same sort thing going for him. He has different beliefs but still has his own compelling worldview. He's not quite as good or as principaled as Ron is though.

On otherwords, stop being a slimy politician. Watch Mr Deeds goes to Washington and try to be that guy. You may fell flat on your face and Ron did labour in obscurity for decades but if/when you do get it. Victory will be sweet indeed.
