I'd also like to add, if this hasn't been listed already, that New Hampshire's State Constitution expressly grants the right to revolution!!!

We also rejected Real ID with the law stating...
"The general court finds that .. the Real ID Act .. is contrary and repugnant to Articles 1 through 10 of the New Hampshire constitution as well as Amendments 4 though 10 of the Constitution for the United States of America."

Open carry is a right.
Concealed carry is a simple one page form and is shall issue.

Disclaimer: I am not a free stater but am happy they chose this state.

No state or national constitution grants any rights. Our rights are inherent in our being human (or God-given, if you prefer). The right of self-government (also called self-determination) is a natural human right. Constitutions and governments can only acknowledge those rights, or refuse to.

I know, I love that. Repugnant. :D Some states are against it because they don't want to fund it. NH is against it because it is REPUGNANT. Live free or die, right!

NH is the ONLY Constitution in the world that recognizes (not grants) the right of the people to have a revolution when their govt no longer serves them. ;)

I'm most excited about moving there!

Please don't move. We have enough whiners. We're looking for activists. You REALLLLY need to re-assess your priorities.

Give me liberty or give me death!

And if you think Arkansas or Cuba () would be a good target, you don't understand the concept. Small state, existing culture of liberty, easily harnnessed change methods, lots of people moving = revolution!

I can name 3 states right off the top of my head that have a better chance of furthering the cause of freedom than New Hampshire.

Unless you freestates plan on coming here and having 20 children each then you will always be the minority. Liberals moving from Mass far out number the handful of freestaters. thats just my 2 cents

The funny this is, I was actually serious. Agriculture determines where I will live, but I can't pass up NH's opportunities.

Are you moving to one of them? If not, I'll assume you're another debatatarian who likes to talk. I don't have much time for those.

Again, the movers from Mass are actually quite anti-government. Their refugees of sorts (in general, not all). NH is still America's freest state.

Second, we don't need to have 51% of the population. We need a few thousand activists. There's a multiplier effect (especially in NH where there are tons of elected offices left vacant because no one is running. If we simply had libertarian minded people file for those offices alone, we'd change the state overnight).

Potatoes, orchards, blueberries and syrup are the biggies from what I've read. :) Especially blueberries. I bet that's why NH has such a great rating for good health...blueberries are so good for you. :D
